Transfer any kind of video to your Dare through your PC. The LG Dare VX9700 is equipped with a 3.2-megapixel camcorder capable of recording video in resolutions of 176 by 144, 320 by 240 and 640 by 480. All videos recorded on the Dare’s camcorder are saved in 3GPP2 (Third Generation Partnership Project 2) format with the filename extension “3G2.” These 3G2 files are a common video format for 3G phones such as the Dare. The Dare is also capable of playing video in 3GP and MP4 formats. To view a video on your Dare, you will need to convert it to a compatible format and upload it to the phone’s memory.

Use a video converter to convert any video other than a 3G2, 3GP or MP4 into one of these formats.

Connect your Dare to your PC using the USB cable supplied with the device. The LG Dare USB modem driver on the disc included with your Dare must be installed first.

Choose “Sync Data” when prompted to do so. You can now browse media folders on your Dare using your PC.

Drag and drop 3G2, 3GP or MP4 videos into the Dare’s video directory. After the transfer is complete, you can view any of the copied videos on your Dare.
