The Personalize menu allows you customize the look of your phone. You can change your wallpaper, the color of your menu backgrounds and the phone's screen saver. The Home Screen option has different settings that allow you to choose which program icons are shown on the home screen, giving you easy access to often-used programs.
The Motorola V360 has several ring style profiles, including Loud, Soft and Silent, that adjust how the phone alerts you when you receive calls or messages. The Ring Styles menu is used to choose which ring style profile you want for your phone, as well as make adjustments to the profile settings.
The connection settings are used to connect the Motorola V360 to other devices via Bluetooth and make adjustments to the Bluetooth settings. You can also adjust the default USB connection settings from the Connection menu. For example, if you connect your phone to your computer to transfer files regularly, you can set the USB connection so that the computer recognizes your memory card immediately.
In-Call Setup has options for how to answer the phone and settings for functions when you're on the phone. The phone answering options are answering the phone by opening the phone, or pressing any of the buttons to answer. The in-call options include turning call waiting on or off, and turning on a clock to keep track of how long you're on the phone.
When you first turned on the phone, you were prompted to adjust different settings on your phone, including the time, date and language. You can change those settings in the Initial Setup menu. The menu also allows you to adjust the screen brightness, the amount of time before the screen turns off when the phone isn't in use, and perform a master reset, which returns the phone to the factory settings.
The Motorola V360 supports Bluetooth and standard headset connections. The Headset menu allows you to enable Auto Answer, which answers the phone immediately when you receive a call and the headset is connected; and Voice Dial, which allows you to speak the phone numbers you want to dial.
The Motorola V360 supports vehicle connections, which routes incoming phone calls to your car's speakers for hands-free operation. The settings in the Car Settings menu include Auto Hands-free, which automatically routers phone calls to the speakers; Power-Off Delay, which keeps the phone on for a short time after you turn the ignition off; and Charger Time, which keeps the phone charging for a short time after the ignition is turned off.
The Security menu has options to protect your phone from unauthorized use. You can lock the phone, lock a specific application, prevent the phone from calling phone numbers not included on a list of contacts, and lock the subscriber identification module card. In addition, the Security menu has an option to change all of the passwords on your phone.
The Motorola V360 supports Java games and applications. The Java Settings menu has options to determine how your applications run on the phone. The settings for each of the applications include vibration, volume and backlight. You can also delete applications from this menu.
