HTC One X is a top class smartphone launched by HTC with the intention of taking on the likes of iPhone and Galaxy S3. It has a quad-core processor and runs on Google Android operating system. It has the power, the looks and a whole host of features which make it a must-buy for users who are looking for a high-end smartphone.
The handset measures 5.29 x 2.75 x 0.35 inches and the body is made of polycarbonate which makes it impressively lightweight as it weighs merely 130 grams. At the front, there is a gorgeous 4.7 inches Super IPS LCD2 capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 X 1280 pixels and pixel density of 312 ppi. The display is bright, detailed and there are no problems viewing it from different angles and in sunlight. The screen also has a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass which protects it from scratches. From the outside, with its classy design and large screen, the HTC One X looks worth each penny you end up shelling for it. Of course, the phone has lots more to offer than just the looks. It is powered by a Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core 1.5 GHz processor and runs on Google Android Ice Cream Sandwich (v4.0) operating system which can be upgraded to v4.1 (Jelly Bean). It also has a ULP GeForce graphics processor. The hardware on the phone is one of the best and it performs exceedingly well. You can use any heavy apps, multitask, etc. without any problems.
The phone has an internal memory of 32 GB out of which 26 GB is user available. There is a 1 GB RAM but no memory card slot which is disappointing considering almost all phones these days offer this functionality. However, to compensate for it, HTC is offering a complimentary 25 GB Dropbox cloud storage account which comes in handy in today's world where you are constantly switching between devices like your phone, tablet and PC. Pre-installed apps on the phone include Google Search, Google Maps, HTC Watch - an online video service, Youtube, Gmail, Facebook and much more. You also have access to Google Play from where you can download any app directly to your phone. Messaging features include SMS with threaded view, MMS, Email and instant messaging. HTC One X has a 8 megapixel camera which can take high resolution photos and record HD videos. There is a secondary 1.3 megapixel camera which can record 720 pixel videos.
As you can see, HTC One X offers a great combination of gorgeous looks and awesome features. Though its price might put off some buyers but as they say 'Good things come with a price'.
