How to Disable a Complete Action Pop-Up on Android Phone After Clicking on the Web Browser

The Android Market contains a number of third-party Web browsers you can use with your Android phone. If you've installed another Web browser, you'll be presented with a "Complete Action" pop-up each time you access the Internet. This pop-up window lets you choose which browser to use. To disable the pop-up, you'll need to set the default browser. You'll still be able to use the secondary browser directly, if desired.

Difficulty:Moderately Easy1
Tap the "Browser" icon on your Android phone, or open a bookmark or application that requires the use of a Web browser.
2
Tap the box next to "Always Use This" when the pop-up appears.
3
Tap the browser icon you want to use by default. The browser will now open and will be used by default, eliminating the pop-up. If you want to use the other browser for anything, open your application list and tap on the secondary Web browser to open it.
