A universal mobile base comes in handy when you need to move large machinery and other equipment. The device consists of a metal base fitted with caster wheels on all four corners. Heavy objects are placed on top of the base, where they can then be moved into any location with a minimal amount of effort. Assembling the universal mobile base is a relatively straightforward task that can be done in less than five minutes without tools.Difficulty:Moderately Easy1 Set the universal mobile base on a flat surface. Locate the spring-loaded knob on the caster bracket assembly.
2 Pull the spring-loaded knob outwards as you slide the side adjusting plate into the caster bracket assembly.
3 Release the spring-loaded knob and allow the pin on the back side of the knob to rest inside the indexing detents on the side-adjusting plate. Repeat the procedure to connect the remaining three mobile base casters to their side-adjusting plates.
4 Lock the four casters by placing your foot on the brake pedals located at the top of the casters.
