Your unlocked HTC Wing cellphone can be used on T-Mobile (its original network) or another network after you install that network's SIM card. Once a SIM card is installed and the phone is powered on, you have access to the device's many features, such as the MP3 Player and Web browser. Practice using these features to become comfortable with the phone.

Charge the Wing by connecting the charger to the port on the bottom of the device. Plug the other end of the charger into a wall outlet. Allow the device to charge for at least one hour.

Disconnect the charger. Remove the battery cover and battery.

Slide the SIM card into the SIM card slot, located in the battery compartment. Insert the storage card into the slot, located on the side of the device. The storage card is used to store music, photos and other media.

Replace the battery and battery cover. Power on the Wing by pressing the "Power" button on the face of the device.

Click on an application that you want to launch, such as "Internet Explorer," "Office, "Calendar" or "Instant Messaging."

Close the program after you have practiced navigating it. Click on the "Quick Menu," located at the top-right corner of the phone's screen. Tap the "X" next to the program that you want to close. Close all programs at once, instead, by tapping "Stop All."
